Removing grass from the area between the sidewalk and road will focus dog poop and pee onto tot lot, pool area, and people's front lawns...something to consider when selecting xeriscape option

great. could we use something that is dog pee friendly? the dog pee kills the lawns, so maybe we could solve both issues?

I like the idea. It would help (a little) if we also stopped over-watering the grass area near the pool. It is frequently very soggy.

I'm in support of this. I also think it would be great to replace the grass with a walkable low water ground cover.
