My.boys.love riding their scooters and skateboards at the skateparks but never get to because they're all so far away. It's a healthy alternative to conventional sports.

People need a place where they can engage in healthy, wholesome activities. There used to be places that allowed people to "play"
Now we gotten to a point where that has become a criminals act. This would go a long way in helping to once again "decriminalize" so fundamental as the act of "playing. Besides wouldn't it be better to give today's kids something to do besides taking drugs. Think about it.

I support this petition for my young son who is learning how to ride a skateboard. He would love to practice and learn from other experienced skaters at a skatepark. Furthermore, this would be a healthy and positive alternative to indoor gaming and possible substance experimentation and abuse.

I'm always driving my son and friends to brick or Bayville skate park. We definitely need one.
