French and German are taught to young children, why not sign language. I am trying to teach my 19 month old and he isn't deaf.

The nursey/primary school my granddaughter attends does teach basic signing from nursery but all schools should.

I think this is an excellent idea, I was just talking about this last week to my daughter saying I think sign language should be part of the curriculum.
