I teach in a mainstream primary school and sometimes teach the children signs when we are singing. They love learning to sign and I think it is a wonderful skill to develop. I wish you every success with this campaign!!

sign language was supposed to be added to the curriculum a number of years ago but as usual, nothing happened.

Brilliant idea my daughter is deaf and I know the frustration she feels trying to communicate and why should they miss out in mainstream school and feel isolated it should be a second language like French is taught or Spanish in schools so should sign xx
