I believe the use of Photoshop in cosmetic advertising is damaging to the consumer. It creates a false image that is a lie and not the result of using the product. By banning Photoshop I believe it will help consumers understand what is attainable, and what is fantasy. This could reduce the risk of vulnerable people developing harmful behaviour such as anorexia or bulimia by giving them a view of what is real. By signing this e-petition we are reminding the cosmetic companies that they should only be allowed to profit from the truth and not make money off false claims. We are reminding them of their moral responsibilities to their customers. Thank you for your time
