I'm a freshman & I'll be damned if I spend the next 3 years of my life working my ass off to walk & get my diploma just for that luxury to be taken from a small wrong doing . #LetMaxWalk

Send him forward with a positive memory of his high school. Let him graduate with his class.

If the young man's a academic performance and behavior has earned him the honor of graduating, I see NO reason why he and his family should be deprived of the joy of walking to him diploma

No John Boehner, the only clear thing here is that you are picking on a child because you have some false sense of entitlement. That is absolutely asinine and you deserve to be taken out of your position of power.

Based on my current understabdibg if the situation: Regardless of mistakes in the past, everyone deserves these milestones if they work for it. He got his grades, received his punishments, and dealt with whatever he needed to deal with. As long as he's not in direct violation of something that clearly says the consequences are exclusion from the event , it is unfair to sentence someone guilty on speculation alone. Whatever else is involved in his life needs to be dealt with wherever else, only thing that needs to be dealt with on the stage is the delivery of diplomas to all qualifying graduates (including Max). Congrats in advance class of 2016. #LetMaxWalk

That's very interesting John Boehner. It's a shame interesting doesn't mean it's the truth. I applaud your attempts to stunt this petitions growth, but they're in vain. Max is perhaps one of the brightest students at Vicenza, evident from his testing scores, such as his ASVAB score. Now, the real reason this is occurring is because Max, like many of us, HAS made some back judgement calls. Anyone who's a military dependent surely knows the frustration that can come from being one. The sad truth is, our principal Mr. Rudy doesn't get along very well with the senior class and very obviously has personal issues with Max. You see, mad was erroneously reported to be in violation of PDA. When taken to the office and told he would be issued ISS (PDA being a minor infraction this action alone unjust) Max got his father involved to clear his name. It was at this time that Mr. Rudy informed Max and his father that Max will not be walking during graduation. I assume you all can see the problem here. As a student at VHS who is also being Targeted by Mr. Rudy, I can assure all of you that this is quite common at this school. To any that read this all the way, Mad and myself appreciate you getting to the bottom of the truth.
