Let him play. He deserves it. It is great when players want to play their senior year instead of going to the NBA. Reward him for it. Don't punish him for it!!!

Been a long time follower of sports & the NCAA & each it becomes more & more of a joke. Suspensions don't fit the crime in most instances, & there seems to be no rhyme or reason & this one takes the cake.

NCAA-
You are taking away part of a kids career for nothing. All the kid wants to do is to play basketball and finish his kids education yet. Making a 9 game suspension is ridiculous.

The arbitrary manner in which the NCAA metes out “justice” is absolutely heinous. Ignoring true crimes that strike at the heart of everything they claim to stand for, while going nuclear on small, innocent mistakes is truly mind boggling.

Seems like with all they actual problems student athletes face trying to decide whether to attempt to go pro or not, and given the recency of the rule changes to the process of being able to return to school if going pro isn’t for you, and that this infraction should be a minimal offense. This punishment doesn’t fit the infraction at all. It really does seem way over the top.
