As some of you know, the courts adjacent to the school have been for sale for a while. The school has been very proactive in attempting to acquire the building to extend on the space at YGGCN. We are an ever growing school and with the successful and nurturing staff that teach our children, we are only set to grow and grow in numbers. Logically, more space is needed. Unfortunately, and as is often the case with regards Welsh medium education, the County Council are reluctant to support the school in paying the £1m needed to acquire the building. It is the perfect location. There is no other space on the site for extra classrooms and such as the school grows and grows. Do we want our children limited to space? Do we want to put a limit on who and how many are welcome to a Welsh medium education in Neath?
It seems a very little cost to the council for an extension to a wonderful and thriving school. Support us in our petition to NPT Councty Council to expand our school. Diolch yn fawr!
Reaching 250 signatures feels like a small win in a very long fight. I am exhausted by the silence from the council but your numbers prove that we are right to keep pushing for this space.

The fight for our school space is wearing me down but I know we need to keep pushing forward. We are almost at a hundred names and I need you to get this link in front of someone new right now to get us over the line.

The climb toward 250 signatures is draining and honestly exhausting. I need everyone reading this to push the link out to others right now so we hit that mark and force the council to actually pay attention.

We need to ensure growth of Welsh Medium Education in the area. This is a way to ensure the future of our children's education. Come on NPT let's be forward thinking.

My 3 granddaughters attend this school. I love the fact they are taught in the Welsh language. If providing more classroom space means more children can have the same opportunity then the Court building adjacent to the school would be ideal to be converted.

Both my children have received excellent education at this school. The extra room this building would create would be such an asset for the children as the school continues to grow in numbers. It's so important to have this building now as this opportunity is unlikely to come up again.

The school has been awarded excellent status by Estyn. It is bursting at the seems. Break times are staggered because of over crowding on the yard. Lunch time takes over an hour and a half. The school desperately needs to acquire the adjacent site for much needed expansion.

Please allow our school to develop and achieve its full potential - this space is badly needed. There is a risk that if the court building is not used to benefit the children in YGGCN that it will become a dilapidated eyesore. NPTCBC should make the most of this opportunity as part of the 21st century schools initiative.

As a governor in the school I know how hard the staff work and the restrictions of space they have to deal with. Everyone's environment could be improved and more children accepted to this excellent school.
