A student should not be punished for the oversight of a counselor or advisor who instructed them on the courses to take, unless the student insisted on not following the requirements of the adult in charge. Therefore the wrong needs to be right, this can affect the students trust in adult for the rest of their lives believe me I know it happened to my son.

The intent of that rule wasn’t meant to kept students like this from playing sports. Can’t just take the rule on its face and expect true fairness. Review her case, design an exception, and let her play and everyone like her afterwards.
