I really hope that Blenheim reconsider their position and reinstate our training bookings. This isn't fair on any of the grassroots players that have been kicked off. It will undoubtedly cause a drop in physical and mental wellbeing amongst our players.

As somebody involved in GRF I find this a disgraceful decision. If it wasn’t for clubs like this, there wouldn’t be the opportunity for kids to get into football in the first place for to then go onto Chelsea and the like

Big clubs pushing local teams out again and again. This behaviour must be stopped.

This seems very unfair. Why have Chelsea now been favoured? This looks like a complete lack of moral ethics by the school.

As manager of an U9’s Colts team, this news came as a huge disappointment which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on a large number of local children.

It has been amazing to see all the effort and support that has helped the number of girls playing football in the area rise so significantly over the last few years, the opportunity, friendships and memories this has given those individuals and their families has been amazing. This decision by Chelsea and Blenheim could in one swoop reverse all that and in many situations see girls stop playing and never come back to put their football boots on again. Please reconsider

The school should have come up with an alternative proposal to really help the club.

This is so sad, when big money organisations come along and stop the voluntary and grassroots clubs from missing out, it is greed and not in the best interest of the children who play and put their all into training and turning up for games.

My daughter has played for E&E colts since she was 8. Now 11 years later her under 18 team have nowhere to train. Blenheim please reconsider your decision. We should be encouraging not discouraging teenagers and youngsters to play.

As Chair of EECFC, I am extremely devastated by Blenheim's decision to outplace our teams. This venue was a pivotal part of our Grassroots Programme to provide a pathway for our players. How can elite football be more important than Grassroots for our local community? We have over 1000 players, most of whom started their team training at blenheim. We were prepared to invest heavily in Blenheim to give our players the quality they deserve, but it seems Grassroots was not even considered!!

My youngest daughter has benefitted immensely from the opportunity to play football through the sheer enthusiasm, passion & commitment of the voluntary coaches who work tirelessly for the girls to improve be skill, passion & love for football.
