I know this is a problem on other college campuses as well (not just IC), but yes let's put some effort in to make the parking situation better. Maybe limited underclassman parking passes, blue lots available earlier that 5pm, or more physical spaces to park.

I live less than a mile from campus. To avoid being late to class due to lack of parking, I sometimes choose to walk to campus...but there's no sidewalks on Danby, which is dangerous. I shouldn't have to sacrifice my safety and pay over 100$ for a parking pass when it's this much of an inconvenience.

It's absurd that I live two minutes from campus, but have to leave over 30 minutes early to guarantee I find parking, walk from my parking spot to class, and make it to class on time. It's rare I'm on time for my first class each day, because parking is that difficult to find.

If we have to pay over $100 on top of tuition to park, we better get a place to actually park. Ithaca College needs to stop extorting money from its students, it's pathetic.

I should be able to park my car if I have to pay for a parking pass.

Parking on campus is impossible. More parking needs to be created immediately. This is unacceptable.

Ithaca College can no longer guarantee on-campus housing to students all 4 years, let alone to sophomores. If we're going to be forced to live elsewhere, there should at least be parking spaces available.

Not to mention the exorbitant price of parking tickets you get when forced to park somewhere outside of a red spot due to lack of available space.

The parking situation is diplorable. Ithaca College charges each student $132 for a parking permit, when the institution knows that it's facilities cannot accommodate the number of students that have registered for parking permits. It's a bureaucratic disaster that must be addressed immediately.

Parking is absolutely ridiculous, I leave my apartment approximately 2 hours before class just to get a proper parking park in the RED section in Towers and Park.

The blue spots were always underutilized. There's no reason not to open them up to students.

For $130 we don't seem to get that much.

It is just hard to believe that in a university with a very high tuition like IC we have all these parking issues. It needs to be better organized, and probably, new parking spots should be created.

I've gone to campus three hours before my first class just so I could get a parking spot, which is absolutely insane. As students, we shouldn't have to worry about not being able to park our cars and being late because of it, while blue lots are half empty all day.

Parking shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. It's so frustrating to see half the spots open in the blue lots but overflowing in the red. Especially on event days when A$E is full? Well then just forget it. I'll be late to class.

Because I used to leave an hour early for school to try and find a spot. Either build more parking, or offer shuttle services to south hill and the surrounding areas. We all know the TCAT is not a viable option for many.
