Let Us Decorate Our Graduation Caps (that we paid for)

I paid for it. I should be allowed to decorate it.

Please allow the students to decorate their hats.

The class of 2016 didn't get to do, so I want the class of 2017 to have the chance to be creative.

As a graduating member of the class of 1991, I find it amusing that this still isn't allowed. It's 2017 and they are still not allowing this? Maybe you need to elect a new board that focuses more on REAL issues.

I think we should be able to decorate our graduation caps, we would still be upholding the tradition of the cap and gown, but with our own taste. Each person has their own personalities and things they enjoy, being able to decorate our caps is a great opportunity to be ourselves.

As a member of the upcoming graduating class of 2018, I am delighted to put my signature on this petition. I believe very much in the expression of the soul through physical arts. I have taken art courses for 4 years. I've grown so much in my artwork and being able to decorate my cap would be a monumental time for me.
