As of now foreign exchange students attending Marcos de Niza High School are not allowed to participate in graduation activities. We are writing this to show our support towards Chloe, Johnny and any other foreign exchange students who agree with our cause of allowing foreign exchange students to walk at graduation, not receive a diploma but to participate in the ceremony and simply have their name called while they walk the stage like all other graduates of the 2016 Class.

I believe that our school should live on its legacy of diversity and immerse the student’s culture through acceptance. We are writing here to say that it's unfair to our foreign exchange students who’ve spent an entire year, who come all the way from their home countries to this school, have been active on campus, and have been denied the right to participate in the first largest milestone of their lives. This is to inform graduates, students, teachers, administration, alumni, and the community that if we can all come together and collaborate we can help make a change for the better of others. Because our future leaders come these graduates...
