Students need co-curricular activities for their physical and mental wellness. They need positive social interaction.

Please let them play and please allow spectators limited the way you see fit, but as a grandparent there is nothing more exciting than seeing your grandchild play.

If surrounding communities are giving the opportunity to their kids, Dodgeville should as well.

Yes, all of our kid's that have worked so hard since they we're in wrestling at the age of 4 has been ripped. My son Jack as a Junior yr. was one match away to making it to St. Sadly he lost, but we we're so proud! And sadly State wrestling didn't happen. I want him to be able to finish something that he has worked so hard for!

Please let them play. Every player and family has spent their earlier years preparing and dreaming about this especially our Seniors. Earlier season Sports Teams during this pandemic have proven they can play safe and have been diligent abiding by the rules given to play.
Thanks

Let them play. Surrounding schools have safely proceeded with sports fall and winter.

Please allow winter activities. If parents do not want to allow their children to participate, that is their choice. It is understandable that some people are more susceptible to illnesses, and some are affected worse than others. But largely, children are not affected any worse than the flu or even the common cold. Are coaches willing to participate? Have you asked them? LET. THEM. PARTICIPATE.

I understand and respect the tough decisions of the school board but I truly believe we can safely participate in sports and other extra curriculars.

Please let the gymnasts have a season. If they follow guidelines, every day people are getting the virus and are following the guidance. I don’t feel this virus is going away any time soon, but if the athletes are willing to follow the rules, why punish all for a few that don’t. Other sports were able to participate in fall sports with little issue. The girls can easily social distance in this sport.

The overall health of our children is at stake. Without winter sports suicide is more of a threat to our children than COVID will be.

It is our responsibility as parents and school leaders to go out of our way to create opportunites for these kids especially during a pandemic. When others around us have proven these activities can be done in a safe manner, then Dodgeville kids deserve that opportunity.

Kids need to be in school and in sports. The risk to them is less then the flu!!!
