Make your city bright and vibrant and let people give their gift of art

I live in Edmonton, and as long as street art is alive and growing in any city I will support it! There are not enough platforms of expression for people without the means to display their unique perspectives. With the consent and commitment of the city, street art can prosper and flourish, and share experiences with those who are confined by disciplinary powers and social boundaries. Support art in all forms!

Bring the lot back! Hanging out here was amazing and I miss the painting and the community gardening and the friends.

I have seen some really creative and experimental work happen on the side of this house and these artists are putting their time and money into beautifying this neighbourhood. Stop repressing human expression.

No need for personnel at city hall to exercise there personal opinions and taste. Missing another chance to represent all people.

This was a great project being worked on, and it was extremely sad to see it go down, it was all great work and it gave everyone a place to paint, then painting the town and people painting where its unwanted, like businesses. I think it would be a really great community project to bring back, it brought a lot of people joy, and showed a great display of talented modern artist.

No good reason to stifle positive creative expression. Disappointing decision that I hope will be reconsidered.

Either knock it down and beautify the empty lot or let them make art. I walk past this house every day. Was disappointed when I saw that the projects have been removed.
Shame on Victoria Council.

Really disappointed the beautiful artwork on this derelict building was removed. Artists need a legal, safe spot to paint and this was a fantastic example of a great communal space. Bring it back!
