This Black Rhino's life has been auctioned off to Corey Knowlton for $350,000 by the Dallas Safari Club.Knowlton, is a Dallas-based hunting consultant for The Hunting Consortium, and the co-host of a hunting show on The Outdoor Channel called “Jim Shockey’s The Professionals.” Knowlton’s online biography says he has hunted over 120 species on almost every continent. TheClub'sexecutive director, has defended this auction by stating that all the money raised will be put towards protecting the species. He also said that the rhino up for auction is an old male incapable of breeding. Knowlton has received numerous death threats for angry activists, and hasstated that he doesn't know whether he is going to hunt the rhino or let him live. As custodians of the earth we should be taking care of the animals and not eliminating them
How can this evil man complain about death threats when he intends to carry out a death threat against this beautiful, majestic animal who is of far greater value than him? I think people forget that animals are people too, and this old man is in desperate need of help.

The black rhino species is a very beautiful and important creation of GOD. As such, it is imperative that we help protect and stabilize their critically endangered population. We DO NOT do so by continuing to hunt them in cold blood, rather, we must protect them before it's too late.
