Bioshock production was cancelled due to the directors vision conflicting with the production company's desire to keep it a PG-13. As a fan of the games it is obvious to me that the loss of the rated-r ranking would change the atmosphere that significantly contributed to the story of the game. As much as the production company may not agree, the blood, gore, and grotesque figures are essential to the Bioshock experience.
