This is just despicable. Politicians need to muster up some integrity and remember that they are elected officials who are serving in a public office as a representative of the citizens they serve. Not to destroy businesses to line their own pockets.

Agri-tourist must be supported at the local level to preserve farmland and a way of life. By supporting and encouraging local farming retail business you are preventing the easy move of selling out to a developer who builds tons of houses on the land causing different challenges for community. That open space is lost.

We need to support our local farms. They work hard to provide for the community. The festivals and events at the farm are a vital part of building community. Please allow them to run their business as they have in a world where small businesses and farms are struggling.

Tabora was one of my first jobs in my teenage years. The Torrice family, along with the farm family that they have cultivated over the years, was crucial to my development. Their dedication to their community and family stems from a work ethic that is unmatched. Rules and regulations have a place in most parts of our society. Forcing a farm family to cut down healthy apple trees where their business and family live in harmony, is like a dagger in the heart. Imagine if someone came to the place where you live your life with passion and integrity, and you’re stripped of the fruits of its and your labor. The decisions were harsh and unwarranted. With the state of the world, we must ALWAYS take great care of the hard working people in agriculture in our communities. We could all benefit from the knowledge of a farmer. This is not necessary, and it benefits no one. Be kinder to our neighbors, and kinder to this earth. These are folks who would never dream of treating other human beings this way. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

Shame on Hilltown! What a poor reputation they are creating for themselves. Who wants to live in a community like that. They are definitely not the definition of community. Get our local news media involved!! This family and their business gives so much to their community, our schools, kids and families!

I may live in Lower Bucks County, I understand how taking the farms away ruined our community. You should be proud to have a working farm in the community that gives back.
