This is sad! Students should he able to use their senior photo to express themselves and the last four years of their life! Not to mention all the self employed photographers that take time out of their lives to make a student portrait look wonderful!

I am a photographer in Manchester as well. Senior portraits are a good portion of my fall income. Not only does this take away from our income, but it takes away from the students freedom to choose the photo that they want in their yearbook.

I feel students and parents should be allowed to go to which ever photographer they choose and can afford. School can dictate what type of photo is allowed but shouldn't be allowed to limit local businesses from yearly business they depend on. Furthermore, not everyone can afford to travel to Nashua to ML office. Great way for Manchester to allow their students to be taken advantage of as there's no chance for competition in prices.

I have friends that are photographers and they do A LOT of Senior photos for Manchester School District. I find this completely unfair that a student cannot find an alternative to choosing senior photos and where they are taken. In addition, this would be a monopoly and the company can gouge parents. Some may not be able to afford to have pictures taken in that instance.

Everyone should get to choose their own area. We had ours done at a park in t he city by an up and coming photographer...

I think this is crazy! Parents/students should boycott and not even buy a yearbook!

The students of Memorial High School should be allowed to choose which photographer they want to do their senior portraits. Forcing them to go to just one photographer to pay for overpriced packages is ridiculous.

That is insane... Are they doing the photos for free?? I am sure that a lot of people are unable to afford their fees. I don't even have children in the system anymore and this is really annoying me.. (putting it lightly) Marte

The choice of photographer and price point should not be delegated by the school but rather by the student and families who are creating the memories and footing the bill.

Students should be allowed to choose. Maybe some parents cannot afford your choice.

Kids should be able to go where they want, not what is forced upon them.

I think the kids should be able to have a choice.
