Hamsters are very social pets by nature, and bring their respective owner a great sense of responsibility. Hamsters also bring very little downsides, and the primary argument that applies to many pets in general-- cleanliness-- isn't even at question, as they are very clean animals. There are little downsides to owning a hamster, much less than a dog, or even a cat. Please do seriously consider getting a hamster for Skye. Thank you.
