We cannot let the gap widen for the kids in the DMPS. School activities help develop young people so they can be prepared for their future.

Sending thousands of kids inside a school building for 8 hours a day puts them and their teachers at an unacceptable amount of risk. The risk is greatly reduced when we’re talking about a limited number of kids playing sports with distancing measures and other COVID prevention protocols in place - protocols which have been effective in ensuring no spread of COVID amongst the Roosevelt football team since they started practicing at the beginning of July. Let them play. Protect our kids from Governor Reynolds’ dangerous political game.
