Roosevelt volleyball changed my life. Taught me about leadership, responsibility, accountability, work ethic.. how to simply just BE a good person. Don’t take that experience away - especially when I KNOW I’m not the only one who feels this way.

We have to learn how to live safely with the virus. We can’t keep canceling all activities- need to figure out how to do activities in a more controlled way because of the virus I have teenagers and have seen first hand the anxiety, stress and depression canceling school and activities has had on them. At least try to make it happen.

I am the head boys golf coach at Hoover High School. We have been practicing for a week now and have put in every safety protocol to remain safe while at practice

Kids should have opportunity to participate. I have faith my daughters coach has procedures in place to keep them safe. This issue is more of a power struggle between governor and schools. You are hurting the kids.

Let them play!! We want ALL our Des Moines schools to be able to play this fall in all fall sports and extra curriculars! Don't leave Des Moines students by the way side again!

Let them learn and play sports. As a Hoover alumni sports was a vivid part of my life and I know it kept me on the straight path... kids need ways to grow in teams and in schools. Do not limit the resources these children need...
