Give families and students an options! Follow the guidance and let parents make the best decision for their families. Offer at least a hybrid option like many of us already opted for!

Let our kids do these activities. They’ve all worked too hard to rip this opportunity from them.

A lot of us are still looking for schools to go to and also we have scholarships on the line, with them taking away sports a lot of us don’t know what we’ll do.

The directors and coaches have worked through the summer to properly prepare for fall activities during the pandemic. Especially With the outdoor activities (e.g., marching band), there is more safety already built in there than with the in-school classes — even before pandemic-specific precautions are added. Some families are very worried about safety of children with indoor classes and may be looking at virtual class options. And the district itself is looking at the possibility of 100% virtual to start. Students should not be penalized with the cancellation of fall activities if 100% virtual courses are the chosen path. The risks are different.

I find absolutely absurd that kid's can not play. If this is the case, and I am sorry I have to day this, if Homeschooled kid's are allowed to play who do 100% online then there is no reason that the high schools should not be allowed to play. This is totally unacceptable on so many levels.

Please let these kids play. I believe you already had a softball and baseball season with a championship. It was not 51% in school participation at that time. Remember life will not stand still.

How would this be any different than families who choose to home school? They’re still allowed to participate in school activities. Our kids deserve to be safe and continue to be active. They also deserve a governor that first use them as pawns in her political agenda.

Please take take more away from these kids. They need school and sports for their social and mental well- being.
