Per the current HOA rules, freestanding and cemented basketball hoops are not permitted to be visible. Please sign the Petition to allow residents to keep the basketball hoops upright in the driveways instead of having to move them each day. We are asking for the support of the residents to amend the rules in the homeowner's association docs to allow basketball hoops to remain. We think that children should have the right and be encouraged to play basketball outside with their family & friends!!! Also allowing residents to keep the goals upright reduces the wear and tear on them, yes it says they are portable but they are not meant to be moved everyday.
It warms my heart and brings me so much joy to see kids playing outside with their friends! We allow any and ALL kids or adults to play on our goal - so it's aways operational!!! I will always support our kids staying active!

Reaching this level of support shows that plenty of you are tired of the daily struggle to move these heavy hoops just to keep the peace. It is exhausting to fight for something as simple as outdoor play but seeing this momentum keeps me going.

Kids need to play outside! I love seeing the hoops, because it means a neighborhood full of families!
We moved to this neighborhood bc of all the goals we saw, kids playing and nearby park. Removing basketball goals is detrimental to our youths! Let them play ball.
Let the basketball hoops stay permanently . Provides a safe place for children to play, keeps them active and out of trouble.
It’s not a trashy thing just hanging out . It’s entertainment for children and that’s innocent and fun for them .
My kids love playing on their basketball hoop but cannot move it themselves. It’s absurd to require it be moved every time they want to use it. Our goal is in good condition and does not obstruct view or traffic.
Let the kids play!!!
I’m all about supporting the kids and reducing the oversight of the HOA.

In a world full of so many problems, legit clean fun for kids shouldn't be one of them! Let kids be kids.
