It was one of the best, my personal favourite feature…now it’s been taken away. Smule is but a shadow of what it once was. I have all but ceased using this app. Time to re- consider my auto-renewal.

I’m not on here everyday… sometimes not even every week. If I am unable to join singers that I enjoy singing with because I missed their OC post, then there will be no reason for me to renew my subscription. In the short time that we have been unable to join old OCs, I have not been able to join any of my regular singers. Very disappointing.

Definitely. It was amazing and now negates half of the songs we want to join simply because our schedules maybe too hectic for a spell.

It’s a completely nonsense to put a limit of 7 days. Maybe I am sick this week or I left for the last day and in this day I have headache and don’t feel good to sing! Why do they want we sing even feeling bad??? Is even a nonsense if you do a great open call when you feel good to OPEN AGAIN! when you feel bad. What is the proposal… to sing bad recordings or join badly only to join before it expires? Absurd.

I know people who have had to leave Smule because of this change. Their busy work schedule does not allow them to join within 7 days. That's sad.

This is the most asinine thing Smule could have done. I tend to open lesser-known 80’s songs, so if followers like them, they have to learn them. Seven days is too short a time to learn a new song. Smule is chasing a Tik Tok trend and, in the process, nullifying opens people may want to join later and forcing everyone to water down the sight with constant opens of the same song because no one can join older videos.
