I have been using Smule for fairly close to a decade.
This feature has been instrumental as part of my mental health and therapy. I lost my Smule mom, Dana, a few years ago. This feature has been my way of keeping in touch with her in a way.. Please bring it back.

I have uploaded well over 1,000 songs in my nearly 10 years at Smule. Many of my 41,000 followers really want to sing with some of my followers who are far better than me. This rule, though well intentioned, really puts a lid on their enthusiasm for the app.

Please allow this again. If those who opened an OC no longer wants new joins they can close it, and I suppose if someone really wants all their old OCs closed, you could accomplish that without removing this feature feature altogether

My love died and to join him even though he is gone is a really important step in my grieving. It’s kind of keeping him still a little alive. We found each other on the app. And now it feels as if you took him away from me. I can’t explain how deeply it hurts my soul…

We won't get more rather fewer joins by adding the 7 day expiration date.
Even Old OCs that are joined show up in your feed. There is no problem keeping track of them.
With the current pricing you can't be serious about limiting anything.

Being a father to twins and working a full time job, I’m super busy all the time so I’m always missing my friends OC’s. Please bring back the endless OC’s so that I don’t have to rely on chance to join certain OC’s and that I can join more friends overall!
