The Chromebook must be purchased through Notre Dame. Personal devices cannot be used as a substitute for the ND Chromebook because a management console program needs to be installed on each device. They want to control what we can and can't do on our computers. So that they can uninstall anything they want off our Chromebooks. They want to have full control.
