EVERYONE SHOULD BE TREATED EAQUALY. Does not matter on race, gender, or even if they have a disease. Treat People the way you would like to be treated.

My friend Stephen Dwyer of Mesa, Arizona had a similar problem. He couldn't walk after withdrawing for a year to fight leukemia. After receiving a bone marrow transplant and returning to school, administration wouldn't let him walk because he was 2.5 credits short. They ignored the fact that he was the student body president with a 4.2 GPA his first semester back. I sincerely hope that Noah gets to walk with his class.

Let Noah Walk! Graduation should be based on proof of command of subject matter, by passing exams, projects, etc by passing grades, not how long someone say in a seat in school. Homeschooling, online classes are not bound to the subjective in your set in classes for the proscribed time. Same in college. When a child has an illness that prevents class time, but he gets the work done and passes the test, then he should pass. To do otherwise is to discriminate against his physical disabilities by not allowing for an accommodation for his disability and is unlawful. Your school system is treading on thin ice and violating he Americans with Disabilities Act.

I cannot believe someone w a chronic illness is being treated this way. Dosent this fall under disabilities we fight so hard not to endure on another? I would hire an attorney for sure!

This boy already has a difficult life. Give him a boost of encouragement and allow him to walk with his classmates as he deserves. It is one of life's greatest memories.

There is NO excuse to not let Noah walk. So, he won't get the certificate yet, just the case, but he SHOULD be with his class!!!
