I'm a former student of Fish's. He is an exemplary instructor. Why does he get punished for caring about the students so much he shares something personal with them? Fish was one of the most charismatic, caring, and supportive teachers at Easley. If you lose Fish over this, which is CENSORSHIP, YOU are the ones who are actually hurting your students. You decide if losing Fish is worth it.

Two of my children were in Mr. Fish's classes and my youngest would be if not for his dismissal. He is a great teacher and shows that passion in his teaching. He cares about the students...the ones he teaches and those he sees around EHS. As an Easley graduate, we need more teachers that care about our children's academics...now and for their future. B. I strongly agree that Mr. Fish should be allowed to return to teach at Easley High School because of the inspiration that he gives to every student to achieve anything they believe in, and express themselves for what they truly stand for. I stand for Fish!

Mr. Fish is an awesome person and an awesome teacher. He has taught his students so much more about life than just English!!! He taught them to be bold and speak up for themselves. Most importantly, he taught them to THINK for themselves!!! #FightforFish

Fish was one of those people who believed that "Censorship causes blindness", and he encouraged us to make ourselves completely uncensored in our writing, and to use our freedom of speech. He's one of the hardest teachers at our school, but he's definitely in the top three for the kindest and most inspiring faculty members I've ever met.

I grew up down the street from the Fish residence and looked forward to taking his AP literature class. Unfortunately I'll probably drop it without his teaching capabilities. Mr. Fish, although raw and unorthodox, taught everyone he met, not just his students. He will be impossible to replace and his students will suffer because of this incident. #FightForFish

Fish needs to come back. I'm literally heart broken hearing this. He is my absolute favorite teacher and without him I wouldn't have the desire to learn. I found this situation very sad and knowing him, he did nothing to cause any harm to anyone. He always stressed to us freedom of speech anyways

I was in Mr. Fish's class over 10 years ago, and he made a positive impact on my life. He's an absolutely amazing teacher, and his class still stands out in my memory. He is passionate about teaching and his students. Losing him would be such an immense detriment.
