Mr. Fish was one of the very few teachers that impacted me as a student 11 years ago that I actually still remember today. He was the first teacher to open my mind and introduce me to American Literature. He helped his students not only engage but LOVE learning and reading! It is to his credit that I'm a college graduate and an ICU Nurse today. This man was incredible and I hope he will continue to move on and do amazing things whether that be at Easley High or another school. Mr. Fish, I'm sitting here looking at 390 supporters. That is a true testament to your amazing gift as a teacher! -Elizabeth Wright Class of 2005

Not my teacher but from what I've heard he is highly respected, so I respect him and what he does.

Katy Grindstaff was one of his students and he helped Grace Grindstaff write her graduation speech. As a mother this man had a wonderful on my girls! We need more teachers like him!

Just so people know the comment says, "I'm not from America, but I think this is a great cause"

The student that complained needs to get over herself. No one should be fired because one student complained.

I didn't have him. I am a substitute teacher and often work in high schools. If that word is what got him fired, then they should walk down the halls of any high school and listen. They use it like any other verb or adjective.

It's a disservice to our children to take away a teacher that they connect with and enjoy learning from. Teachers like this are to few.

Mr Fish is a great teacher, mentor, and leader. His attempts to expand the minds of the next generation should be lauded rather than criticized.
