My cousin has autism and loves to play sports. He plays basketball, soccer, and baseball! He happily plays for his school. He loves every minute of it. He shows great team spirit and clearly loves playing on the field. It is dissappointing that Michael is unable to bowl at his own school. Let Michael Bowl!

its really the worst when you do something you love and then it can be taken away from you in manners like these. Mike deserves this oppurtunity and i guarantee you when he does get the oppurtunity that he will shine and will succeed.

Mike is a great individual! Being a persistent dreamer, he has the potential to be the next Babe Ruth of bowling. Disabilities aside, what is the RIGHT thing to do here? Two qualities that Mike obviously demonstrates are excitement and enthusiasm, which are two MAJOR components of keeping a team strong and forward moving; who wouldn’t want a person like that around their team even if they weren’t the greatest bowler (which is NOT the case here). As a direct result of this situation, a student’s morale is broken, a great school doesn’t look as great, and a community gets upset. To end this on a positive note, the amount of practice Mike’s had over the years, preparing him for his schools team, has made him a great bowler. When the school realizes the power behind that kind of personal growth, the bowling team will be unstoppable! BIG THINGS GUYS

There has to be a way to make this right for this young man!! What is the saying...no child left behind? Shouldn't that apply to all students , no matter what their needs are!!!

Let Michael bowl! I know a young boy who is autistic and does tae Kwon do with me; not only is he good but it's great for him! So let Michael bowl!

I am Mikey's uncle. I don't know if he is being discriminated against. I do know that he is a good bowler and an overall great kid. Everyone needs someone like Mikey in their life....if you know Mikey then I do not need to say anymore. The problem I have is do not say he is part of the team and the day before practice say sorry kid but you cannot bowl with us.

i am on the brick memorial bowling team and this is a shame to see a kids right taken away to bowl just because he is autistic. my father is a deaf bowler and he is very good. I've also seen an autistic kid bowl in new jerseys a south division and he is on varsity. this is not fair. please let him bowl. it would be an honor to bowl with him
