mike should have an iep that states the accomadations for sports, legally the coach cannot deny mike access to the time if it directly helps his overall life experince.

The real problem lies in the fact that the school district is obligated to transport sports players to and from matches on buses, and that people not on the team are not welcomed on these buses. This in and of itself is the root of the problem and the fact that an exception can't be made for Michael is upsetting. So shame on the district, and shame on all of you for thinking such a technicality would lie on the coach's hands.

There is a kid with autism on the bowling team right now and he bowls alongside everyone else with a great average. I can probably count the number of signers who know this on one hand. How dare anyone play the disability discrimination card in a situation like this. This is a total disappointment and the ignorance among you imbeciles could not be making itself more clear.

They should let Mikey play and be part of the team because he is a great guy and he deserves it!!
Mikey is the most courageous and outgoing kid I know if anyone deserves to be on the bowling team it should be him
