it would be great to have roller skating available at Red Arrow Park. why not use the space to its full potential instead of letting it sit empty all summer? bring the community together in a positive, healthy way :)

Roller skating organically brings people together. I have experienced this first-hand when I started skating with Roll Train 8 months ago. I have made new friends and now I skate on a regular basis. This would be a great activity for the city.

There is no good reason to ban this activity. This is a park & we should encourage its’ use. More foot traffic is good for businesses. It’s also good for the city. MKE has a reputation of having empty sidewalks. Please embrace this family friendly use of the space.

Roller skating and Rollerblading are wonderful ways to get cardio and also will help kids and families do something physical in the summertime. Also, this activity can inspire others and they may be inactive at first, and gain inspiration to move from seeing rollerskaters. Why not make a plan to decrease the obesity epidemic?
