The amount of support rolling in is overwhelming and it shows that people understand exactly why this matters. I am exhausted from the constant back and forth but seeing this level of backing keeps me focused on the goal.

Seriously? Even if you pay for your own ticket? Thats rough. Maybe promise to text them every hour so they feel better about it.

My parents were the same way until I showed them my grades and how much I saved up. Keep trying honestly its worth it.
Total bummer. It is definitely about the music and the bands. You should show them the lineup so they see its just pop punk and metalcore.
