Not only do I disagree with the so called "rules" that home schooled kids aren't "allowed" to play at sports at "regular schools" but I also don't agree with the reasoning as to why. Especially with the high alert concerns from all kids having to be put on home schooling due to covid, causing immense "emotional trauma, depression, high risk for suicide and harming themselves or others" because of "lack of socializing and sports and other activities. And when the schools opened back up for on campus learning it was Not mandatory they do so. But a parents choice on their childs learning platform and how they did. So Why are home schooled children being punished simply for not being on a campus? You are completely going against what you say you are preventing, kids being allowed to socialize and do enriching sports and activities. There's no conflict of interest in allowing home schooled kids in the Kern Valley to do such activities. Specifically speaking about Maverick Mack, who is an outstanding young man, an inspirational student and a good example of a respectful young adult. I have personally seen Maverick participating in youth sports and he is a great help to those that are on his team and younger. Not allowing kids or "certain kids" to play is an outrage. To top it off, he Lives in this Kern River Valley and is limited as well to what activities and sports he Can play due to our own limited opportunities. Don't hold him or our kids back Just because they are "different" because they Choose to be home schooled and get an opportunity at a better education amd future. Shame on those who are trying to keep him and others from playing.

Will it hurt anyone to let the boys play? If the answer is no, then why are we even doing this much. Let the boy play ball. It’s the American thing to do.

As a homeschool family, a multiple campus agreement would me so much to these children! Socializing and staying active!
