I am not sure whether a full time mayor is best but I am certainly willing to let the majority of voting Malibu residents decide the matter.

Give us the option as I strongly feel the rotating mayor as it stands is not productive nor representative of the residents. A mayor represents accountability - need that more than ever before!! I want accountability and transparency, we simply don't have that now for everyone trying to get friendly with the city mgr in order to advance their own campaign agenda/promises. Stronger council with a 4 yr mayor position!!

It seems that private interests have hindered what is potentially best for local residents. I believe the option to vote for a representative for the residents of Malibu is vital.

Whatever an individuals view is on having a strong mayor or not - the citizens should get to make the choice. This belongs on the ballot regardless of your position.
