Mr. Santana, the director of jazz band, is trying to exclude clarinet from jazz band, and I don't like that. Any instrument can play jazz. Jazz is a style, it shouldn't be limited to certain instruments. So, he told me to get 500 signatures and he'll consider it. So I am. Please sign so I can be the coolest and only clarinet player in jazz band :)

This is ridiculous. Clarinet sounds great in jazz. Get with the times Mr Santana.
Jazz is an art form, and no one should ever be excluded from making and being involved in the creation of that art, especially if they feel passionate about it.
Mr. Santana, please reconsider Madison 's proposal and allow her to be a part of jazz band.
Please Allow her to demonstrate her talent in any musical setting. Serj Tankian sings his metal music with orchestra. Talent can be heard in any musical setting. Just have to open to it

Music is about expression not what instrument ur holding. If someone wants to play they should be able to. Let her play.
