Madeline’s credits were counted incorrectly, causing her to have to take a summer course to achieve the amount of credits needed to graduate, this was completely out of her hands and she should be allowed to walk at graduation.

Updates

The school administration remains completely silent on Madeline’s case, but their cold indifference is only fueling our fire. It is pathetic that they refuse to acknowledge their own clerical error while a student pays the price for their incompetence.

May 18, 2021

The school administration can no longer hide behind their bureaucratic errors now that this momentum is snowballing. They need to stop punishing a student for their own incompetence and let Madeline walk.

I believe Madeline Walden should be allowed to walk as she will be completing her one class this summer and was not failing anything she had a misunderstanding w the counselor on credits

The school really dropped the ball on this one. She shouldn't be punished for a mistake the counselors made. Let her walk with her class.

It's one thing if a student purposely didn't take the correct classes to receive enough credits to graduate but it's another thing when it's not the student's fault and was completely out of her control. She has all the right in the world to walk at graduation.
