I cannot believe that administration would not let someone speak about Mr. Tully. My son had him 5 years ago and he was the best teacher he ever had. We developed a relationship with him outside of school and to this day, there is NOT A DAY THAT GOES BY, that I do not think of him with tears in my eyes. What kind of message are you sending to students by not allowing them to speak positive of a teacher, educator and mentor at their graduation???? The disgust I feel right now is unmeasurable. LET LUCIA SPEAK!!! Do the right thing and do not worry about politics, administration etc. Be a person of integrity and set an example of human compassion and behavoir! LET LUCIA SPEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucia has the right to freedom of speech and the students have the right to speak about their deceased teachers in a speech. It is unlawful and frankly disrespectful to try and refuse their opinions on the subject.

I never personally met this man but I know he impacted my friends lives 10 fold so I think she should be able to speak for the class.
