I'm making this petition to remove the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints handbook requirement that when abuse of any kind (physical or sa) is reported to a bishop or other authority figures at a local levels, that they have to call the Church's Abuse Hotline before the authorities such as CPS or Police Force. Too many victims fall through the cracks or are actively ignored in many cases.

I plan to take all signatures of this petition to send to Church Headquarters to show that change is necessary for the protection of victims, many which are children. While I understand why people donate funds this is not what this project is about! The most value you can give me is your signature.
