Mrs.Rosa has been the best Elementary Principal for SAA. She has been beyond supportive to my daughter while attending SAA. One of the reasons my wife and I like Mrs.Rosa was that-she never showed favoritism towards any of the students. We've noticed some staff/teachers show favoritism based on which SDA Church you attend and if you're related to someone. There are many cliques within SAA and the culture needs to change. Mrs.Rosa was a very diverse and equal individual. I am not sure if we will continue to have our daughter continue attending SAA after the school year finishes because we feel betrayed. It's really a disservice to us as parents. We are praying for Mrs.Rosa, her family, and the staff and students that have been dependent on her love and care.

Mrs. Rosa was a really good principal for the elementary school when I was there. Her son is also one of my best friends

We were sadden to hear about Mrs.Rosa departure,just want to tell everybody how wonderful and nice she has been to us and since our school is “our community”we deserve an explanation.

"For the good of the community we are going to keep silent" has been a tried and failed approach to Adventist education for decades. I've seen situations in the past where the reason for removal of a principal was known only to the school board and the conference; even the sole sponsoring church board was not informed of the reason, though the proponents of the change would be "happy to discuss it with you privately". The result was the predictable reduction of students the following year. Lesson: Be open about tough staffing decisions with the parents and seek their input as they will ultimately vote on the issue anyway through enrollment.

It would be a wonderful Christian example for the children to see someone they look up to be allowed to see this school year and Class of 2021 through till successful completion.

What happened to Judie last week was so wrong at so many different levels. I hope that those who did it to her will humble themselves before God, set aside their pride for the sakes of our children, and do the right thing by letting Judie finish this school year.
Thank you Judie for your hard work and dedication to our precious sons and daughters at SAA for the past 5 years. You are a consummate professional, a true Christian, and a shining-star role model for all our youth, particularly young Latinas.
Whichever school gets you next will be outrageously blessed! I am already so jealous of them (Lord, forgive my jealousy!). We love you Judie, and will never forget you. I proudly sign this petition, only wishing I was Signer #1.

She was one of the reasons we transferred our kids to SAA. We had stopped by SAA to get some information about the school. We did not have an appointment. She was heading out to get some lunch but made it a point to address us and answer any questions we had. She then asked if we had time for a tour of the building. She gave us a thorough tour and answered ALL of our questions and concerns and then some. She was always wonderful to work with, professional, kind, stable and a leader. SAA became a much better place because of her leadership. We are heartbroken to hear what has happened.
