Let Jacky stay in the US!

Jacky is an incredibly sweet girl that I am proud to say I had the chance of meeting. The foreign exchange programs are extremely flawed and this is just one example as to how. This seems like an extreme misunderstanding. Jacky's time here is almost over, school ends in less than a month. Why not let her finish her time here and leave the United States with dignity and the ability to look back on her experience in a positive light? Instead, she will look back on it with negative memories. What type of message is that sending to not only potential foreign exchange students but also potential host families?

There are other exchange students who skip school all the time and don't do anything! i can't see any reason why they should send her home !

Jacky is an exceptional student, I myself am an IB Diploma Student, she prides herself in an education and wouldn't ever intentionally skip classes. She deserves this chance.

This is completely ridiculous that she would be sent home for these reasons

Jacky is such a sweet girl and truly cares about those around her. I've seen her emotions going up and down for the past month and have heard how things have been rocky for her. She deserves perspective. Thusly given by staying here. She's done nothing wrong but been one of the best most well behaved students here at SRHS, participating in plays, and helping the school structure of compassion for your peers and academics. Let Jacky see America a little bit longer.

Living in America, wether your here on a student visa, work visa, etc. means that you are innocent until proven guilty. It sounds like Jackie has been found guilty without having the opportunity to prove her innocence. Clearly she should have been given a warning, wether verbal or written and given the opportunity to state her case.

That isn't right. Even if she's not a citizen and not on trial, she still should have the right to have her side of the story confirmed.

Jacky is in my drama troupe class and I have honestly never met someone as genuinely nice. She has never spoken any ill words about anyone, even if they actually deserve it. She tries to see the best in people and in no means deserves this type of treatment. Though we aren't that close (I'd love to be), everyone who meets her can agree she is an amazing human being and should be able to stay in the US.

Jacky did so much to go to the US and her exchange shouldn´t end like that!

I've seen exchange students do a lot worse (drugs etc.) with no repercussions, denying someone an opportunity like this for reasons like that seems very shallow indeed.

I've been in exchange year with YFU and same thing almost happened to me. Stay strong! Btw, I think you should change your host family.

If you send her home, you'll just confirm the stereotypes about ignorant America. If you can't stay, just go to Canada!
