Sometimes television is not about viewing figures it is about art. It is about making good television even for niche markets. Marketing is another thing altogether, work harder at that. Looking needs a Season 3 to complete the story arc and development. Otherwise what has been the point of the 2 Seasons so far?

I do fancy this show. Just because it is the only show in televisin novadays where the main character are gay. It is essentually important for many people.

I didn't 'discover' this show until very recently because I didn't get HBO. Looking took me back 50 years. I identified with Patrick because I did almost all the same things he did. I thought someone had secretly discovered my history and out it to paper. I'm in my late 60's now and I regret many things but this show let's me remember all the wonderful and youthful endeavors I pursued. Every character in the show has a corresponding man who was in my life. The only character missing (for me) is the married man who cruises the gay bars. Yes, I had an imaginary bullseye painted on my forehead. If there was one married man in a disco of 1000 people he would make a beeline to me. I love the show...maybe you can add the married man -looking for young hot Patrick type and rename the show "The Mike Ryan Show".

I really enjoy the show, it is really the only show I can relate to and I would be dissapointed if the show does not continue for another season (or many more...).
