Hi mom, I want a perm. Not only is it another way to experiment with my hair while I’m young and don’t have a reputation to worry ab, but it’s also gives me more control over my appearance. You already took away the flat iron, so I can’t even fry my hair so it gets fluffy anymore :,( As you know, the last perm didn’t last, I think the best time to do it is now, while my hair is still short and let it grow out so no one else has to see it— If guys with shorter hair than I have can get perms and pull them off, I certainly can.
