Chanel I'm sorry you have misinformation and I'm sorry you feel I've not done anything for the North Newton Club as a State Officer. I'm also sorry that meetings and events were planned after I had given a schedule of my State Officer meeting dates and times. I however don't blame you, because mistakes happen. I hope you can see past the fact that this is not just about me, but all future state officers. Not just FCCLA but other clubs as well. The few times that I was on my phone at meetings was directly related to FCCLA as I have duties as a State Officer and need to be available for questions and concerns during those meetings. I'm sorry you feel you cannot support this just cause and hoping that people will be ready to help you when you need it and not hold things that they are not well informed about over their head.

Being an FCCLA State Officer is a huge accomplishment. The school should be proud to have someone such as Crystal graduating from their high school!

I was a state officer for Indiana FCCLA as well and I was allowed to wear mine because my school respected my achievements. It sounds like North Newton School Corporation doesn't respect their students achievements.

I'm also trying to wear my FCCLA cord for when I graduate next year and it's frustrating that my hard work to represent Iowa FCCLA as well as my school apparently wasn't enough to be recognized for when I graduate. I hope this works out for you!
I completely support this great idea!
