The school should be kept open the teachers are good with the students. If they have to change schools a lot of students will drop out . the students will not be treated the same and other kids will harass them. The smaller ones elementary schools should be shut down not Churchill High

This school should be reconsidered for closing. Great neighborhood school, rich in history. Also school is more centrally located for the youth of the southward public school system.

first of all, petitions need to have an agreed upon end result. someone just made this for fun and no matter how many signatures it gets, it won't change the boards decision, unless previously agreed that when it hits 1,000 signatures, the board won't close Churchill. also why do you guys care it's just a building its not your dog relax a little

Churchill and westgate have had rivals for years. Think about all the problems that will be started between students, also think about all the empty classrooms there always are at Churchill, I understand the budget problem but if your going to get rid or any schools it should be the smaller ones.

This petition will have no effect on the boards decision. It costs too much to run and there are not enough kids enrolling so in end result will be a loss of profit for the board. Its not like they are closing it down for no reason.

Just because teachers and people at the school board think it's a good idea, how about see what the students that actually go to Churchill think about it and maybe see what parents who now have to ship their kids around to a different school. Us students go to Churchill and it WILL Stay open
