I have no connection whatever to Ched Evans and for all I know he is probably not a very nice person, however.......we have a justice system in this country that punishes people for misdemeanours whether serious or less so and this man has paid the penalty for his crime and should now be allowed to find employment in his chosen profession. Any argument about "role models" or anything else is totally spurious given what we allow to happen on a football pitch by "innocent" players. Personally I do not wish taxpayers money to be used to pay Mr Evans for the rest of his life because of vicious campaigners who require more than normal justice! Please therefore sign this petition to help bring some normality back to this mad mad world.
