Why would moving this even be an issue. Unless the plan on widening that section of Route 9? Is the town going to make other businesses on the Rt. 9 corridor move as well?

Caffreys should be able to rebuild according to the code. They are not asking for an exception, but just to follow the code established by Lacey Township. It is unfair for additional restrictions/requirements to be imposed on this business.

Caffrey's a true landmark to the community. As long as it is safe to do so, please let them rebuilt right where they were. They are having a difficult enough time with dealing with the tragedy that has happened. Make it easier for them to rebuild, and sooner.
