Gordon Butler has made a huge difference in my daughters life. He didn't hand her anything except advice and a stern position when it was needed. I personally would be crushed to not see him give my daughter her diploma. He has my respect as an educator but most of all as a human being. Why should an unknown person speak about these kids that he doesn't even know? That is disrespectful to the 2016 graduates and their families in addition to Mr. Butler.

mr butler is by far the best principal that I've had at MHS. I'm not a senior but I still think he should be able to speak at graduation!!!

I graduated class of 2014 at Boyd high school which was Mr . McDaniels last year as principal there & he got to say bye to us & shake our hands & take pictures with us at graduation . This man shouldn't be any different.

Mr. Butler has been the best principle I've ever had. He's helped me with ever problem I've had as a principle but also as a friend. I can't think of anyone else I would rather have shake my hand along with the other seniors as we start our new lives.
