Let the kids walk ... It's a harmless prank . All the teachers promote a senior prank since my class 06 if not before ... If anything have the kids clean up the bugs and release them . Don't tarnish their records when they are just starting out ! Be happy it was lady bugs vs guns !

Seriously more things to worry about than a harmless prank. Not to mention wasn't a teacher involved....

Let them walk, let them talk. A senior prank that was harmless should not warrant such penalties. Have them volunteer over the summer to help offset any clean up costs etc. But this harmless act should not affect these kids from walking that stage. Lighten up people, get the bug outta your a$$ ;) Signed!

I am not sure if this petition will help, but I 100% agree that they should be allowed to walk. Of course they should pay restitution, but they should be allowed to walk. People seem to forget what they did at 17 years old. We are not talking about thugs. We are talking about GOOD students that simply participated in a prank.

Brian put in 12 years of school for this moment. LET THE BOY WALK. Hunter's speech is to good to not be spoken. end of story

This is my nephew. I know the prank was not right, but really?...not allowing him to walk for his Senior graduation? This all seems a bit extreme to me. And, if several seniors were involved, why is it that only Brian is not allowed to walk? Where's the fairness in that? Oh, and btw...congrats Chopticon for the baseball game win..glad the one student involved in this prank was permitted to play in the baseball state championship game after the prank, for a win. Talk about double standards.

Let them walk. They will have 4 life milestones because of this. 1. Last chance at being a kid. 2. The feel of community support. 3. Lesson learned of what they almost lost. 4. The importance of better judgement and mercy.
